Recently, the Changzhou Base for Natural Disaster Engineering Rescue of the Ministry of Emergency Management was inaugurated at the Changzhou Branch of the Second Engineering Bureau of China Energy Group. Sun Huashan, vice minister of the Ministry of Emergency Management, Zhou Guoping, member of the Party Committee of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Energy Group, Fan Jinlong, member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and executive vice governor, and Chen Jinhu, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee and Mayor of Changzhou, jointly unveiled the plaque for the base. This is the first regional base for natural disaster engineering rescue to be established in China after the establishment of the Natural Disaster Engineering Emergency Rescue Center of the Ministry of Emergency Management at China Energy Group in September 2019.

It is learned that the Changzhou Base for Natural Disaster Engineering Rescue of the Ministry of Emergency Management was inaugurated at the Changzhou Branch of the Second Engineering Bureau of China Energy Group. The predecessor of the Changzhou Branch of the Second Engineering Bureau of China Aneng Group was the Fifth Detachment of the Second Corps of the Armed Police Force for Hydropower. As the "national team" of emergency rescue, it has successively participated in more than 120 major tasks such as the rescue of major mountain floods and mudslides, and has played the role of the main force and vanguard in the engineering emergency rescue of major natural disasters.
Two all-terrain vehicle products of the company were showcased as the highlight equipment of the listing ceremony to the attending leaders. Leaders from the Ministry of Emergency Management of the People's Republic of China, China Aneng Group, Jiangsu Province, Changzhou City and other levels jointly visited the exhibited equipment and expressed high expectations for the company's all-terrain vehicles to play a prominent role in the future emergency rescue field.
